The Problem We're Solving
We've listened to your feedback and understand your concerns using the main Career Help feed. Posting anxiety, struggling to find relevant content, getting overwhelmed with questions that are not relevant to you, and the desire for more specialized groups have been recurring themes.
Our research showed that many people felt uncomfortable posting publicly. They wanted to ask questions anonymously or in a more targeted space. You also expressed the need for curated communities where you can connect with peers and professionals who understand your background and questions and have either “been there, done that” or are at the same step in the career journey as you. Countless studies show that your success rate skyrockets if you share your goal with other people and are not alone in your journey.
What Are Spaces?
Spaces are specialized hubs aimed to connect people at a similar stage in their career journey with professionals who can help because they have done this before. Here's a glimpse of what you can expect:

- Post to a Smaller Audience: No more posting anxiety. Spaces allow you to ask questions, share experiences, or seek advice from a smaller group of people who share your goals and have experience with helping with this particular career and advancement opportunity.
- Discover Relevant Content: Finding the content that matters to you has become easier. Each Space is tailored to a specific theme, so you can dive into discussions, resources, and content, get and give relevant help, and know exactly what to expect.
The Road Ahead
Spaces is a step towards building a more vibrant, relevant, and engaging community within the Braintrust professional network. We’re starting with three Spaces focused on community members needing resume reviews, looking for their next opportunity, and connecting their network to the opportunities at Braintrust. In the future, Spaces will expand to enable Expert-led groups, Classes, Events, and other opportunities based on the needs of talent. We've designed Spaces to be flexible and adaptable, ready to evolve and meet your needs in the future.
