Zvinodashe “Zed” Mupambirei is a dedicated developer with diverse skill set. Zed calls himself a "global person" as he is always traveling, so freelancing and remote work allows him to choose his own schedule. Zed found Braintrust in our early days, from seeing Adam Jackson, Braintrust CEO, in the news. "I believed in the whole vision of it. There was quite a significant momentum,” Zed says about the launch. His appreciation for Braintrust's innovative business model stems from his firm belief in the future of remote work and freelancing. "This is something that is different from Upwork, from other platforms that didn't have as much transparency, community, or incentives."
Zed's journey with Braintrust began as early as March 2021 when he landed his first contract as a Solidity Developer at Snowfork. As a Solidity Developer, Zed worked on smart contracts, governance, frontend, and React work, solving cutting edge crypto problems with new technologies and mechanisms. His short-term contract was very fulfilling. Zed states “I thoroughly enjoyed my experience working remotely with a very collaborative, open, honest, hardworking but flexible team and setup.”
Another notable project he worked on is Eternity where he worked on reviewing and auditing Smart Contracts. At Eternity, Zed says “it was a rewarding experience that allowed me to push boundaries as the project was committed to excellence, innovation and delivering on its goals. Remote work allows me to take advantage of the days I have huge momentum and work more hours daily knowing full well that the important thing is work delivery and not fixed time schedules of just showing up.”
